The C-HR, or the Coupe High-Rider, is Toyota’s global compact SUV based on its newest TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) platform which made its debut with the current-gen Prius. The Toyota C-HR is roughly the same size as one of the best selling compact SUV in India, the Hyundai Creta. However, the C-HR manages to look distinct from its peers thanks to its striking coupe-like roofline and athletic stance. Globally, it is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine along with a bigger 2.0-litre motor and a 1.8-litre hybrid powertrain. Will it come to India? Well, that depends on whether Toyota localises the TNGA platform in the country or not.
